The Guildford Fencing Club U11 foil team (Henry Lipinski, Benjamin Barnardo and Theo Bendall Breen) achieved a very respectable 5th place out of a total 19 teams. The Guildford team won all of their pool rounds, which includes beating the eventual winner Newham Swords. This is an amazing result particularly because this competition includes many strong teams from the London clubs. |
